Can anyone help give me some idea for an arrangement depicting the fair?

I'm doing an arrangment depicting the local fair, it can include little animals, flowers, moss. Basically anything you want it to, except take flowers. The problem is I don't know where to start..could anyone help me? Any ideas/suggestions will be greatl appreciated. Thanks!

use toothpicks to first make a farris wheel and then add little pigs chickens etc. you may even want to cut up a hanky for a tent to make it look more real good luck and think of what you see when you go to the fair and then make it out memory have fun with it
Reply:Perhaps-Flowers-daisy, no moss. First pick a season- then a design.

USE fresh or wax fruit, Fairs were about the land! Try wicker basket weave with blue checker prints, faux red barns with a "Smell" of blueberry or pumpkin on it. With wheat floral and dried Indian corn.

We always had a Summer and Fall one around harvest time.

Since the Halloween stuff is out- that might be easier for a Fall theme. I would put an edible element with candy corn as well, for the visitors to eat from a wagon or something.

Girl rent the movie "state fair" with pat Boone, Ann Margret OR Just as good "Meet me in St Louis" Judy Garland. Charlotte's Web and has a wonderful depiction of fairs.

Lots of games were played as well, so use some of those to get ideas for things. Minnie Pearl's hat with the price tag on it, and her red giegham{plaid} apron was traditional Fair clothes.

Good luck! Have tons of fun!
