Also would like to know the meaning behind any suggestion offered. Why a certain flower...how does it pertain to Korea...and what is the flower's meaning.

Find out the natural flora in Korea, then try to find these or simular flowers in the US. The two Koreas might have national flowers or something maybe you could research that.
