What's the best way to clean silk flower arrangement?

I tried spraying and dipping a large arrangement in the tub. But it was so dusty it seems I will have to wipe each leaf and flower.

Does the salt in the bag treatment work?

What's the best way to clean silk flower arrangement?
I set mine in the shower and give it a good rinse, this has always worked for me, or use the kitchen sink with the sprayer the added force of the spray should clean them.
Reply:there is Silk Flower spray cleaner that you can get at a Hobby store that will work %26amp; comes with instructions.
Reply:A damp rag should do the trick.
Reply:they have a spray that brings silk flowers back like new and im not sure of the name
Reply:Blow drier on cool setting to loosens the dust and grime. Then wipe with a duster.
Reply:You should spray on it one by one. You can also dip the flowers in water with mild liquid soap but do it one by one to avoid dust scattering over the other flowers, and if the water gets very dirty, change it before dipping the flower again.
Reply:splace them under the shower and spray soap on them then just hang them upside down to dry
Reply:I watched this done on television. You take a brown paper bag and add white salt in the bag. Then you put your artificial flowers in the bag. Close the bag up and shake it for 5-10 minutes.
Reply:I had a silk tree (had) until i took it out into the front yard, as usual %26amp; hosed it down. But this time I left it sitting out there for a week in the sun :( The leaves curled forever. Looked like it dried up, so sprayed it again %26amp; put it on the porch to dry %26amp; it looked great! Then it curled again- can't fix it-Waah!
