I got them at work today, and they didn't come in a box or anything, so how do I get them home without splling?
How do you transport a vase flower arrangement in a car?
just put them on the floor and move the seat forward to wedge them...they shouldn't move if you wedge them tight enough between the seats
Reply:You don't need to stress so much about any spillage, as you do keeping the blooms intact.
You also don't want your pretty vase to break.
Just ask around at work for a scrap cardboard box for your flower arrangement. Unless you work for a jerk, the person in charge (or a co-workker) should be more than happy to set you up.
Maybe you know of a place to snoop around on your own for leftovers (when the boss is on break).
Set the vase in the box, then carefully wrap some newspaper or copy paper loosely around the blooms (top of the vase) to support it.
When yo get home, put an aspirin tablet in the water to keep it fresh (7 - up doesn't work any more, since they went all-natural).
Reply:Use a cardboard box with wadded up newspaper to prevent it from tipping over.
Reply:I have put a vase on the front seat and put the seat belt around it. First pull the belt out all the way so that it will lock and then let it tighten around the vase. Put your coat or something around the base to keep it from sliding around and you are good to go! The best thing about having them up on the passenger seat is that you can easily reach over and steady them while turning or stopping.
Reply:put in a box that just fits vase then put on floor in the front, ready to grab in need to, usually not though.
Reply:Go to a cafe or food business and get a box its Christmas and all people feel nice and helpful
